NEXT EVENTS ➢ Newcomer Virtual Meet and Greets + Postcards + Civics + Craftivism Gatherings
Thank you for signing up for No Kings Fairfax City!
Below are final instructions, safety reminders, and key links to help make your experience impactful, safe, and smooth:
This is a peaceful, civil, and fun-filled event!
We ask that no weapons, threatening messages, or masks be brought to the event. This will reassure everyone that we are out here for the right reasons.
Time
The event will begin at 1:00 pm centered at Chain Bridge (Route 123) and Armstrong. We plan to spread out along the eastern sidewalk of Chain Bridge Rd (Route 123) from Sager Ave in the north down to just before the INOVA Emergency Room to the south until 3:00 pm.
Following our visibility event at 3:00 pm, our partner The Eagle Group will be hosting a rally with speakers and music at the Veterans Amphitheater until 4:00 pm.
If you can't be there when we start or the whole time, that's fine!
Come when you can, stay if you can, leave when you want!
Stay completely off the roads, allow passage on sidewalks, cross the street at designated crossings only, and do not block entrances to building or parking areas.
For maximum visibility, spread out down the sidewalks.
Location Map + Parking Info
Fairfax City features plentiful public parking all around old town Fairfax, weekend parking is available at the Courthouse garage, limited commercial and residential street parking is available in the area, and a limited amount of accessible parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to City Hall.
We ask all participants to reserve this space for individuals who have mobility needs and may not be able to participate if they must walk long distances.
The parking areas are marked on this custom Google Map.
Note: Observe and respect parking rules that are posted. You assume any risk for where you park and any towing that may occur from violating posted rules.
Do NOT park at INOVA! Reserve that lot for people who need their emergency services.
